President - Fiona Stumpo
Fiona is a Special Counsel with Holman Webb Lawyers Brisbane. Fiona holds a Bachelor of Laws degree with Honours completed at the Queensland University of Technology in 1997. She is admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. Fiona’s practice over the last 10 years has involved various legal positions in Australia and London including in-house advisory for a major global insurer, focussing at all times on litigation, particularly insurance litigation and dispute resolution.
Vice President - Johanna Lucas
Johanna is a Senior Associate at Rodgers Barnes & Green Lawyers. She has been involved with insurance law for over 10 years. She has particular expertise in the area of personal injuries, including public liability, CTP and WorkCover claims. Johanna is heavily involved in insurance litigation and dispute resolution.
Secretary - Megan Daniels
Megan is a consultant with Agricultural Loss Management (ALM) Group providing independent agricultural expert, loss adjusting and loss management services to her clients. Megan has worked in the insurance industry since 2006 bringing with her agribusiness and project experience gained in previous positions held in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
Megan is an Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Insurance Institute (ANZIIF) and also holds a Bachelor of Business in Agribusiness grained through the University of Queensland.
Treasurer - Daneille Crawford
Daneille is currently working as an Account Executive for Citycover (Aust) Pty Ltd (Insurance Brokers). She has over 20 years' experience in the insurance industry, working for international and metropolitan brokers and premium funding companies. She has her Diploma in Financial Services (Broking) and is a Senior Associate with the Australian and New Zealand Insurance Institute.
Sports and Social - Yolanda Gillespie
Yolanda is a Development Manager in the CGU Corporate team. She has a Graduate Diploma (Ins) from the Deakin University, is a Fellow of ANZIIF, Certified Insurance Professional and a JP (Qualified). She has 35 years experience in the General Insurance Industry in both sales and underwriting roles. Yolanda loves all sports and still actively participates in Masters Basketball and Touch Football. A career goal is to mentor and develop young people to actually choose and promote insurance as a career of choice. It really is a great industry to work in.
Functions - Ingrid Murphy
Ingrid is a Senior Claims Advisor at Zurich Australia Insurance Limited and specialises in both commercial and domestic property claims. Ingrid is currently studying through the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance to formalise her General Insurance qualifications.
Training and Development - Dina Thompson
Dina is a Senior Associate at Jensen McConaghy Solicitors practising in insurance litigation. Dina holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Queensland University of Technology. Dina has over 12 years experience in the insurance industry and now specialises in CTP insurance and acts on behalf of a number of Queensland insurers.
Newsletter - Kate Hemingray
Kate is a Project Specialist for Intermediated Personal Insurance for the Strategy and Implementation Team at Suncorp. Previously she was the Property Claims Coordinator at Vero Insurance Limited. Kate has been in the insurance industry for the past 18 years and has obtain her Fellowship Qualifications from the Australian and New Zealand Insurance Institute. She is also a qualified Certified Insurance Professional. Kate is heavily involved in many charities that support animals such as the RSPCA and the Animals Asia.
IT Coordinator - Sarah Peden
Sarah is a solicitor at Rodgers Barnes & Green Lawyers. She specialises in the fields of statutory insurance and personal injuries, including compulsory third party (CTP) insurance. Sarah also specialises in other areas such as property law and administrative law.

She has previously also worked in other areas such as property law, wills and estates, insolvency and dispute resolution.
Sponsorship Coordinator - Susan Lindores
Susan is a Commercial Insurance Broker at Queensland Insurance Services and works with her clients to put in place insurance programs relevant to their individual needs. Susan initially joined the insurance industry with Mercantile Mutual in 1999 as a claims officer and through the Mercantile Mutual / QBE joint venture, she was able to develop her career through positions as an eBusiness Co-ordinator and a Business Consultant. Susan's last role was that of an Account Manager in Queensland for QBE before joining QIS as a Broker in 2007.
Susan is a Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Insurance Institute (ANZIIF) as well as a Certified Industry Professional (CIP).
Committee Member - Ashley Jones
Ashley is a partner in Financial Services at Deacons and conducts litigation and dispute resolution in a wide range of matters on instructions from insurance companies and self insurers. Ashley joined Deacons in 1988 and is a co-author of ‘Personal Injuries Procedure in Queensland’, the first book in Queensland dealing with the Personal Injuries Proceedings Act 2002, and a contributing author to publications on tort reform.
He is a Member of the Litigation and Rules Section, of the Queensland Law Society and holds membership of or an association with Australian Insurance Law Association, the Queensland Law Society, Australian Professional Indemnity Group and the Queensland Association of Fire Investigators (member and treasurer).
